Katy Johnson is an attorney in the Health and Welfare Branch in the office of Division Counsel/Associate Chief Counsel. Before coming to the office of Chief Counsel, Katy spent several years in private practice, focusing on employee benefits issues. Before that she clerked for the Honorable Lavenski R. Smith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. She is a graduate of Stanford Law School, where she graduated with distinction. Katy is a co-author of the IRS’s final regulations on the Employer Shared Responsibility provisions. |
