Joseph Tiberio is the acting Employment Tax chief. Prior to that assignment, Joe was the program manager for Employment Tax Policy in the IRS Small Business/Self Employed Division. The Employment Tax Policy Office develops and implements policies and strategies to support and enable employment tax field operations, and to enhance employment tax programs and policies service-wide. Tiberio has also acted as the territory manager in the ET East Territory. Before joining Employment Tax Headquarters Tiberio was the Territory Manager for Taxpayer Education and Communication (TEC) in Boston. Prior to working in TEC, Tiberio worked as a Revenue Agent and Revenue Agent Group Manager in the Boston area for more than 20 years. |
