As senior tax analyst in SB/SE Communications, Outreach Systems and Solutions (COSS), Lawson works with practitioner community and payroll stakeholder organizations to provide information about IRS policies, practices and procedures to ensure compliance with the tax laws. Lawson began her IRS career in the Baltimore district office as a customer service representative in 1988 and has worked in several other functions, including the Electronic Tax Administration office. She joined SB/SE Stakeholder Liaison in 2000. Lawson holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and marketing from Hampton University, an associate’s degree in project management from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix. |
