Molly Brewer, DVM, MD, MS

Dr. Brewer, a nationally recognized gynecologic oncologist, is Director of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, Director of the Women’s Cancer Prevention Program, and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Connecticut Carole and Ray Neag Cancer Center as well as a Research Professor Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
She offers highly personalized care for women with gynecologic malignancies, such as ovarian, uterine and cervical cancer. Dr. Brewer also provides consultations about cancer prevention, particularly ovarian cancer, through the Women’s Cancer Prevention Program.
Prior to joining the University of CT Health Center, Dr. Brewer practiced at the Arizona Cancer Center at the University of Arizona in Tucson, where she was the director of the cancer center’s gynecologic oncology division. Prior to that, she was the division director of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas-Houston Medical School and on the faculty at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Brewer is a member of many national organizations and is widely published in scholarly journals.
Dr. Brewer earned her medical degree from the College of Medicine at the State University of New York at Syracuse and completed her residency at Oregon Health Sciences in Portland. She completed her fellowship at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She also holds a master’s degree in statistical analysis and clinical research design from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Ann Arbor.
